Fall 2024 registration for current CUSD incoming 9th grade students starts February 5, 2024 and closes March 4, 2024. Students will need to access their AERIES student portal to add elective classes.

NEW STUDENTS TO CUSD WITHIN CUSD BOUNDARIES: ONLINE ENROLLMENT
 
CUSD's online student enrollment allows you to begin the enrollment process for students who live within the district boundaries. You must have a valid address in the cities served by CUSD to use this system.
 
Please note that enrollment is not complete until the online enrollment information has been reviewed by the school. Additional school forms will need to be completed and proof of residency must be verified. The enrollment process will be complete after you meet with the school site Registrar.

Parents of district students (CUSD) who would like their child to attend a school other than their designated home high school, should follow the process outlined under School of Choice. Please visit School of Choice for more information.

ASU FRESHMAN APPLICATION
Applications to apply for the 2024-2025 ASU Student Council can be found HERE
Applications are due by Monday, March 4th to the DHHS Activities Office by 3:30 pm.
 

ATHLETICS

AVID

AVID is a nationally recognized program designed to help bright, motivated students in their completion of college-prep coursework while in high school, in hopes that these students will be able to gain acceptance to 4-year colleges or universities directly from high school.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL OCCUPATIONS ACADEMY (HMO)

The HMO Academy is a state funded academy designed for students who want to pursue a career in the health field.  Only incoming freshmen may apply to be in the HMO Academy.

PEP SQUAD

Incoming Freshmen interested in Cheer/Song Squads need to attend the mandatory parent meeting and tryout. Please see linked flyer HERE for dates, times, and location. 
 

SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (SOCSA)

SOCSA is a visual and performing arts academy for students within the Capistrano Unified School District who have special interests and potential for creativity.  Applications coming soon!.

TWO WAY IMMERSION

Our Two Way Immersion - Spanish (TWIS) Program has the goal of preparing our language students to achieve high level proficiency in two languages (English and Spanish), along with academic biliteracy, critical thinking skills, bicultural awareness and sensitivity and appreciation.
