Counseling

The Counseling Department at Dana Hills High School believes all students can achieve and succeed.  We have professional staff that are here to make it happen. Our goal is to provide each student with the proper tools for success, not only in high school but for their future beyond DHHS.  We take a proactive approach with interventions to meet academic, college/career, and the social/emotional needs of each student.  The DHHS Counseling Department adheres to the standards and best-practices set forth by the American School Counseling Association to implement a comprehensive and data-driven school counseling program.

Services offered:
  • Individual support and small group guidance lessons in academic, personal/social, and career domains
  • A safe school environment in which we promote high levels of student learning
  • College and career readiness for all students
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, and community agencies

Dana Hills High School counselors are available 5 days a week from 8:00am to 3:30pm to assist students. Discussions between the counselor and students are confidential. Feel free to contact us if you think your child needs counseling. We look forward to working with you!
