9th grade is the perfect time to explore and try new things! Consider checking out our on-campus clubs, trying out for a sport, and attending the many events that our school hosts throughout the year! All of these are great opportunities to meet new friends. Your level of engagement will set the tone for making the most out of your Dana Hills High School experience.
The Dana Hills Counselors deliver classroom lessons and meet with you once a year to help inform you about our role in supporting you academically, socially, and with your college and career goals.

Saddleback Counselor on Campus!
We are excited to announce that Saddleback College has a counselor available on the DHHS campus to meet with any student in grades 9-12 regarding questions pertaining to community college. Topics include (but are not limited to) concurrent enrollment, Freshman Advantage/admissions process, Counseling 100 (College Success class for seniors), and information on different educational goals (certificate, associate degree, transfer). Appointments are 30 minutes on Wednesdays and parents/guardian may join their student.
